Junior Banking Officer

About the Role

WOXA GROUP is looking for a Junior Banking Officer to support banking operations, domestic and international fund transfers, and financial transactions while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, banking regulations, and internal policies.

In this role, you will help maintain financial accuracy and organizational liquidity through transaction verification, cash-flow planning, bank reconciliation, and coordination with financial institutions. You will also support AML/KYC compliance, monitor foreign-exchange movements, and continuously improve financial and payment processes.

Responsibilities

Ensure that domestic and international fund-transfer transactions comply with banking regulations and applicable legal requirements.
Process and verify banking transactions accurately and within the required timelines.
Ensure that payment processes comply with financial-security standards.
Prepare financial reports and supporting information in a structured, accurate, and auditable format.
Manage cash flow and maintain sufficient liquidity for organizational operations, including multi-currency planning.
Perform bank reconciliation and investigate discrepancies in financial transactions.
Support AML/KYC compliance and monitor suspicious transactions in accordance with established procedures.
Monitor foreign-exchange rates and support foreign-exchange risk management.
Coordinate with financial institutions and relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Improve financial and payment processes to increase operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
Knowledge of domestic and international fund-transfer processes.
Knowledge of foreign-exchange rates and currency transactions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
