Senior UX Designer – Evidence-Based Design
About the Role
WOXA GROUP is looking for a Senior UX Designer – Evidence-Based Design to create and improve digital product experiences through measurable outcomes, product analytics, and user research.
In this role, you will define success metrics before beginning the design process, establish tracking plans, analyze user behavior, and translate insights into practical design improvements. You will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and key stakeholders to ensure that product decisions are supported by clear hypotheses, reliable evidence, and measurable business and user outcomes.
The role is ideal for an experienced UX or Product Designer who can combine strong design foundations with analytical thinking and help promote an evidence-based design culture across the organization.
Responsibilities
Define Success Before Design
Translate business and product objectives into measurable signals.
Apply frameworks such as Goals-Signals-Metrics or HEART before developing wireframes.
Establish clear definitions of success that align designers, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
Plan Product Measurement and Data Instrumentation
Design event taxonomies and tracking plans for assigned user flows.
Define event structures that support meaningful product analysis.
Analyze funnels independently without relying entirely on the Data team.
Analyze User Behavior and Diagnose Problems
Use product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or GA4.
Analyze funnels, cohorts, retention, conversion, and user drop-off.
Combine quantitative findings with user interviews, usability testing, and session replay tools such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity.
Identify the underlying reasons behind user behavior and product friction.
Drive Continuous Product Improvement
Manage the complete improvement cycle from launch to measurement, diagnosis, redesign, and remeasurement.
Use measurable outcomes to evaluate whether design changes successfully improve the product.
Focus on business and user outcomes rather than design output alone.
Promote Evidence-Based Design
Ensure that major design decisions are supported by clear hypotheses and evidence.
Present and defend design recommendations using research and product data.
Participate in design critiques and stakeholder reviews.
Encourage teams to make informed decisions rather than relying only on personal preference.
Improve Team Standards
Help Product Owners and designers shift their focus from output to business outcomes.
Contribute to organizational standards for tracking plans and product measurement.
Share evidence-based design practices with other members of the product team.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in UX Design or Product Design.
A portfolio of launched products that demonstrates measurable business or product outcomes.
Ability to explain how previous design work changed key product metrics.
Strong knowledge of success-metric frameworks such as GSM, HEART, or equivalent approaches.
Hands-on experience with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or GA4.
Ability to build funnels, segment cohorts, and analyze retention independently.
Experience designing event tracking plans and defining taxonomies for user flows.
Ability to combine quantitative data with qualitative research to create and test hypotheses.
Strong foundations in Information Architecture, Interaction Design, and Prototyping.
Ability to transform analytical insights into practical product experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in conversion-critical environments where funnel performance directly affects revenue or operating costs.
Experience designing or improving onboarding and sign-up flows.
Strong understanding of user drop-off and conversion behavior.
Familiarity with Design Systems and Design-to-Development handoff processes.
Ability to communicate and work effectively in both Thai and English.
